Jay Hernandez and his wife Daniella Deutscher have been married since 2006. In the 1990s, he met his wife while filming the sitcom Hang Time.
When the two met on set, it was a match made in heaven
From 1995 until 2000, Hang Time was a teen sitcom that aired on Nickelodeon. The sitcom followed three girls and four guys on the Deering High School basketball team as they pursued their dreams of becoming professional basketball players.
Julie Connor, the sole female basketball player, was played by Deutscher. From 1995 through 2000, the actress appeared in all six seasons of the sitcom. Hernandez, on the other hand, was only on the show for three seasons, from 1998 to 2000. In the fourth season, he was a recurring character, and in the fifth and sixth seasons, he was a major role. He played one of the basketball players, Antonio Lopez.
Hang Time was, coincidentally, both Deutscher and Hernandez’s first television appearances, and it was through the show that they met in the late 1990s.
In 2006, the couple married
The pair has kept their marriage a well guarded secret. The couple has no children. They haven’t shared any information about their dating or married lives. Both of them, however, make public appearances together.
The actress has made several appearances at the premieres of films in which her spouse has acted. She is a strong supporter of her husband’s work, and the two have been spotted together on numerous red carpets. The two have been photographed together at the premieres of a number of films, including Torque, World Trade Center, Bad Moms, Suicide Squad, A Bad Mom’s Christmas, and many others.

They’ve also gone to award presentations together, such as the Hispanic Heritage Award Ceremony and the 59th Monte Carlo Television Festival.
To far, Deutscher has only appeared in three films: Hang Time, Drifting School, and Aquaman. Since 2006, she has put an end to her acting career. The same cannot be said for Magnum P.I.’s actor, who has acted in a slew of films including Hostel, Hostel II, Bad Moms, Suicide Squad, Quarantine, Takers, Friday Night Lights, Toy Story 4, and a slew of others.
The actor has also appeared in a number of television shows. Gang Related, Scandal, BoJack Horseman, Hawaii Five-0, and more shows are among them. Magnum P.I. is his most current and ongoing series, in which he plays Thomas Magnum, the main character.
