Scott Conant, a well-known chef, has long tasted the delicious taste of accomplishment. A lovely family full of love and affection was his prescription for success. When it comes to Italian cuisine, the Connecticut native is the maestro and champion. He owns several well-known restaurants in the United States. Scarpetta, his restaurant, was named one of America’s Best New Restaurants in 2008.

Chef, restaurateur, and cookbook author Scott Conant has worked at L’Impero, Scarpetta, and Red Rock. Scott began his professional career as an intern at San Domenico, a well-known New York City restaurant. After that, he spent a year at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich, Germany, mastering the craft of pastry. He went back to San Domenico and got a job as a sous chef.
In 1995, he began his restaurant career as a cook at Manhattan’s Il Toscanaccio restaurant. He later became the executive chef at New York City’s City Eatery. His passion for Italian cuisine grabbed the attention of New Yorkers, and in 2000, he received a two-star rating from The New York Times. After two years, Scott founded L’Impero, his restaurant in Tudor City.
In 2008, the renowned chef made a professional breakthrough when he established Scarpetta, an Italian restaurant in Manhattan, New York. In July 2010, he debuted his television show 24 Hour Restaurant Battle.
Aside from that, he has appeared on shows and competitions such as The Today Show, Good Morning America, and Cooks Vs. Cons, and others. He has opened multiple restaurants in various places between 2010 and 2018, including D.O.C.G Enoteca (2010), Impero Steak (2014), and the Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa, which he unveiled in 2018.
Friend Aaron Sanchez Reunited; Four-Course Dinner
Scott Conant brought his old friend Aaron Sanchez, who performs Masterchef, into the kitchen of his restaurant, Masso Osteria, to collaborate on a special four-course evening in November 2018, following the launch of his restaurant Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa.
Scott mentioned his wish to spend time with him and cook with him after their reunion. Sanchez made it clear that he was looking forward to entering Scott’s kitchen.
And, as planned, the two spent a lovely evening together on November 13th, cooking to their hearts’ content.
Conant started the evening with a signature cocktail and a variety of canapes, followed by Sanchez, who served the first and third dishes. The second course and dessert were handled by Conant.
Conant’s meals, as one might imagine, showcased his Italian heritage, and Sanchez infused them with Mexican tastes.
Bio of Scott Conant: Education, Family, And Siblings
Scott was born on February 19, 1971, to an American father and an Italian mother. Scott used to think he had a perfect balance of varied cooking styles as a kid. Many of his skills came from his family, and he began taking cooking classes at the age of 11. He has two brothers, as he revealed on Instagram on April 11, 2018.
He later attended the W.F. Kaynor Technical High School and the Culinary Institute of America.

Scott’s divorce from his business partner/wife was finalized in 2007
Scott was previously married to Chris Cannon, an entrepreneur. The couple had two restaurants under their name and were not only husband and wife, but also business partners.
Their marriage, however, ended in divorce as their connection deteriorated. Scott not only divorced his wife, but he also had to part ways with his Alto and L’Impero business in 2007.
During the year 2007, the tension between them reached a breaking point, with both former partners suing one other for a large sum of money. Scott Conant weds a Turkish pet magnate. Scott married Meltem Bozkurt, a pet-accessory magnate, in Turkey in 2007, shortly after his divorce from his professional partner, Chris. Ayla Sophia Reina, born on February 8, 2010, and Karya Eva Maria, born on September 19, 2012, are the couple’s two daughters.
Scott’s family, as well as his wife’s, Meltem Bozkurt’s family, provide ample support. He paid a visit to Meltem’s relatives in Turkey in 2015. Her mother taught Scott how to prepare fish in the Turkish style. They meet together every year in the Aegean resort district of white villas to savor Scott’s grilled fish. His strong attachment with his family has proven his divorce rumors, which arose as a result of his prior split with his business partner, to be a terrible recipe.
