On April 24, the second weekend of the Coachella 2022 concerts came to a conclusion. The Weeknd, a hitmaker whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, performed the festival’s closing act. Together with co-headliners Swedish House Mafia, the singer wrapped up the yearly music and arts event.
Just two weeks prior to the performance, they were confirmed as the headliners when Kanye West, the original headliner, backed out of the festivals. Switching between solo and group performances, the tag-team headliners gave a high-octane show.
Tesfaye sang songs from across his career during his 17-song set, including “The Hills” and “Blinding Lights.”
By singing the verse he contributed to West’s Donda track “Hurricane,” he paid homage to the rapper. However, his rendition of “Save Your Tears” was the one that garnered attention. A brief phone message left by an unidentified woman may be heard during the song’s outro.
Coachella Voicemail for The Weeknd’s Performance
Many others mistakenly believed it to be Bella Hadid, The Weeknd’s ex-girlfriend.
Hey, this is me. Before Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia performed their song “Moth to a Flame,” a woman was overheard stating, “I know it’s been a while, but I was just thinking about you, and I’m sorry for everything. As the Canadian artist and the model’s dates ranged from 2015 to 2019, several admirers were certain it was the supermodel.
They discussed the voicemail on Twitter.
“I’m crying right now. The Weeknd could not possibly have left a Bella Hadid voicemail at Coachella “Tweeted a supporter
“Did The Weeknd just play an apologetic voicemail from Bella Hadid during this Coachella set?!?!?!?!?” a different fan questioned.
However, following some research, internet users learned that the woman was the singer Ruth Radelet.
Prior to their dissolution in 2021, Radelet was a member of the American electronic band Chromatics. The Weeknd and the electronic group worked together to remix his song “Blinding Lights” from 2020, which made an amazing run at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The identical message can be heard at 4 minutes and 33 seconds into the song in the “Blinding Lights” music video.
New Girlfriend of The Weeknd
Not that we are certain of the identity of the mystery girl; it appears that admirers were overly enthusiastic. The purported couple appeared affectionate on February 19 as they celebrated Weeknd’s 32nd birthday at Delilah’s in Las Vegas.
According to insiders who spoke with the publication, the supermodel was unfazed by the news.
No matter who Abel is dating—even if it’s an old acquaintance of hers—Bella is unconcerned in any way. It’s not really news to Bella because she is aware that they have been having a casual relationship for some time, according to the insider.
They did add, though, that Hadid was somewhat concerned by Khadra’s violation of the girl code rather than because she was jealous. Hadid figured Khadra would talk to her about it before dating her ex.
The informant also stated that the model didn’t care who the singer was seeing because she had been seeing art director Marc Kalman for such a long time.
