She attended St. Croix Central High School and played volleyball on the team there. In 1991, she received her diploma. The former athlete additionally participated in volleyball for the St. Paul club.

Sarah received a volleyball scholarship to the University of Pittsburgh due to her skill as a student-athlete. She also received a four-year letter from the Pitt Panthers. She also rose to the position of team captain and received the distinction of senior Student-Athlete.

In addition, the gifted volleyball player was chosen twice for the Big East’s Academic All-Big East squad and received second-team All-Big East accolades in 1994. She earned a degree in movement science from the university in 1996 and then graduated. Sarah was an enthusiastic volleyball player who participated in school athletics. She worked as a teacher and coach at Oak Creek High School after finishing her college career. Soon after, she was appointed as the University of Dayton’s assistant coach. After only two years, she went back to her hometown and took a job as the University of Wisconsin’s director of volleyball operations.

She first met John at that time, when he was working for the university as the Badgers’ assistant ice hockey coach under head coach Mike Eaves. The Wisconsin native admitted to exercising early in the day while John put the hockey players through their paces in the weight room in an interview with Republican Eagle.

The pair eventually got married and relocated to Michigan. The wife of John Hynes gave up her work to focus on her family and children.

Is A Three-Time Mother

The precise date of the Hynes couple’s marriage has not been made public. But we can safely say that they have been together for more than 20 years. After being married, they didn’t immediately welcome their children. Instead, the couple spent a few years concentrating on their careers. Sarah’s husband took over as the Wilkes-Barre team’s head coach in 2009. Around that time, Sophie Hynes, their first child, was born.
