Shawniece Jackson is stocking up on baby food and pacifiers at the store! Shawniece and her husband, Jephte Pierre of Married at First Sight, welcomed their first child, Laura Denise Pierre, on August 20, 2018.

Laura, a 5 pound 15 ounce baby girl, was named after Jephte’s mother Laura and Shawniece’s mother Denise. Shawniece, who is 30 years old, enthused about her mother life as she spilled out,

It wasn’t until it came time to bring her home that motherhood really hit me. It was the equivalent of meeting someone for the first time and talking about your possessions. Look at your crib, Mommy has this for you; we have a wonderful modern home for you and a great neighborhood.

Mom described the first time she saw and held her baby as an unbelievably amazing experience. The Married at First Sight season 6 star went on to say that her daughter was her greatest blessing, while her husband Jephte joined in and expressed his joy at seeing his daughter.

Jephte, 26, couldn’t help but let his emotions get the best of him as he confessed to crying at the delivery of his baby girl, not to mention that it was the best moment of his life.

When Shawniece walked down the wedding aisle in The Married at First Sight, she met her husband for the first time, and the two didn’t get along right away. Shawniece and Jephte got into a quarrel on the first day of their marriage when going over issues given to them by the show’s experts, and they had a lot of problems. However, as they became more open to getting to know one another, their barriers began to crumble.

Shawniece disclosed her unexpected pregnancy ahead of the show’s finale, despite their marriage’s ups and downs. Despite the fact that the pregnancy news came as a shock, Shawniece and her husband wasted no time in assuming their new responsibilities as parent and dad.
