The couple met for the first time in 2016 while filming an episode of Running Man. Both of them displayed interest in each other in the episode, and this on-screen interest created off-screen interest as well.

Even though their story began this way, they did not begin dating immediately away. Kwang Soo was Sun Bin’s dream boyfriend, and she openly professed her feelings for him. Kwang Soo did not waste any time in expressing his interest in her. He even joked that they’d be married in a week.

According to a TV report, Kwang Soo usually accompanied Sun Bin to meetings. He constantly introduced her as his girlfriend on the occasions. In response to the report, Lee Kwang Soo’s agency, King Kong by Starship, issued a statement saying, “Lee Kwang Soo and Lee Sun Bin, who met on Running Man, have been dating for 5 months.”

In addition, when asked about his relationship in 2020, the actor laughed and said that things were going well, even though they had little time together.

After 11 years, Lee Kwang Soo left ‘Running Man.’

Soo was able to find not just his girlfriend but also a lot of notoriety in the industry because of Running Man. Since signing on in 2010, he had been a regular on the show for nearly ten years. He said that the show had given him a lot and shaped him into the person he was.

Furthermore, the K-Drama actor expressed his excitement at winning Best Supporting Actor at the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards in 2020 for his work in Inseparable Bros.

I was terrified, and I hadn’t anticipated it in the least. I went to the ceremony expecting to just celebrate since being nominated was such an honor, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was incredible, and I was overcome with emotion.

He also admitted to watching the footage of himself accepting the award far too many times. He had received more congratulations on the award than he had ever received on his birthday. He was in rehabilitation after breaking his right ankle, but because the injury didn’t heal entirely, he had to step down from his position.
