Tanner Buchanan: Diet Plan
It’s too bad Tanner didn’t reveal his entire diet in that interview, so I can’t tell you what he eats. However, I am aware that he is currently not a vegan and consumes a sufficient amount of protein from lean meat and vegetables.
How did I figure it out? That’s according to his recent interview with AtLargeMagazine. I’m not sure if he supplements, but we’ll find out when he updates his diet. For the time being, I’ll give you a diet that will help you achieve Tanner’s physique.
Tanner Buchanan eats the following foods:
- Avocado toast
- Turkey bacon
- Protein shake
- Chicken breast
- A small bowl of rice
- A fruit smoothie
- Steak or salmon
Tanner Buchanan: Workout Routine
Tanner is a physically fit man who has always prioritized staying in shape, eating well, and exercising. His fitness level skyrocketed after he starred in the martial arts show Cobra Kai. Tanner can now perform martial arts, albeit not as well as UFC fighters, but he can do a fair amount.
It’s unsurprising that people want to emulate his physique. Tanner is super lean and well-built from every angle, so how does he stay in shape?
To find that, I looked up a few things, and it turned out to be relatively easy to locate. I mean, I couldn’t find the entire routine, but I was able to find some of Tanner’s workouts.
Tanner Buchanan’s workout consists of the following:
Cobra Kai Workout + Toning Workout
Tanner revealed some exercises to get the Cobra Kai physique in an interview with Men’s Health at the beginning of this year.
Weight training is included in all of the exercises to help you build body strength. In a set of four, he performs five sets of exercises. Tanner demonstrated the following exercises in his workout:
- Upright kettlebell rows to dumbbell punches, 410
- 410 pound dumbbell thruster to med ball slams
- Squats with kettlebells to round kick, 410 (10 for each side in the round kicks)
- 410 pounds dumbbell bench press to plate press and raise
- 4 minutes of barbell jumping jacks
So, as we’ve seen, he does an overall body workout rather than standard workouts that focus on the build. Tanner is all about overall fitness; he also does cardio workouts, which usually consist of a run and other such activities.
Tanner also enjoys training in a dojo where he can learn various techniques such as round kicks, tornado kicks, and so on; as seen in this video, he pulled a 540.
How do you incorporate this into your daily routine?
To begin, divide your workouts into two training patterns by doing five days of training per week. Work on your cardio and martial arts moves or training first thing in the morning. I would advise you to join a martial arts gym.
Indulge yourself in evening workouts such as weight training, which will be more functional in this case. You can ask your gym trainer for more information on the types of functional training that will be most beneficial to you.
Begin with the fundamentals. Also, do as much as you can to strengthen your core. I recommend including these exercises in your daily routine.
Bulgarian squats, kettlebell squat press-ups, drop squats, step-up lunges, snatch, kettlebell swings, deadlifts, and other exercises are examples.
